حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَرِيَّةً فَأَصَابَهُمْ الْبَرْدُ فَلَمَّا قَدِمُوا عَلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَمْسَحُوا عَلَی الْعَصَائِبِ وَالتَّسَاخِينِ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 146
Narrated Thawban: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out an expedition. They were affected by cold. When they returned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he commanded them to wipe over turbans and stockings.
