حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاکٌ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ اغْتَسَلَ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَفْنَةٍ فَجَائَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهَا أَوْ يَغْتَسِلَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي کُنْتُ جُنُبًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْمَائَ لَا يُجْنِبُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 68
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: One of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ took a bath from a large bowl. The Prophet ﷺ wanted to perform ablution or take from the water left over. She said to him: O Prophet of Allah, verily I was sexually defiled. The Prophet said: Water not defiled.
