حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّی وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَشَيْئٌ أُنْزِلَ أَمْ شَيْئٌ کَانَ يَقُولُهُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 2416
Anas reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: If the son of Adam were to possess two valleys of riches. he would long for the third one. And the stomach of the son of Adam is not filled but with dust. And Allah returns to him who repents.
