حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَهْلًا يَقُولُا سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ الَّتِي تَلِي الْإِبْهَامَ وَالْوُسْطَی وَهُوَ يَقُولُ بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَکَذَا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 7403
This hadith has been reported by Sahl b. Sa'd that he heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: I and the Last Hour are (close to each other) like this (and he, in order to explain it) pointed (by joining his) forefinger, (one) next to the thumb and the middle finger (together).
