حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ قَالَ کُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَقَالَ أَکْثِرُوا مِنْ النِّعَالِ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَا يَزَالُ رَاکِبًا مَا انْتَعَلَ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 4133
Narrated Jabir: We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey. He said: Make a general practice of wearing sandals, for a man keeps riding as long as he wears sandals.
