حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ کَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ صَنَعْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدَةً سَوْدَائَ فَلَبِسَهَا فَلَمَّا عَرَقَ فِيهَا وَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ فَقَذَفَهَا قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ وَکَانَ تُعْجِبُهُ الرِّيحُ الطَّيِّبَةُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 4074
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: I made a black cloak for the Prophet ﷺ and he put it on; but when he sweated in it and noticed the odour of the wool, he threw it away. The narrator said: I think he said: He liked good smell.
