حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ قُلْنَا لِأَنَسٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِکٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ کَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 4060
Narrated Qatadah: We asked Anas bin Malik: Which cloth was dearer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? or Which cloth did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ like best to wear ? He replied: The striped cloaks (hibrah).
