حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِسْحَقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا کُنَّا فِي دَارٍ کَثِيرٌ فِيهَا عَدَدُنَا وَکَثِيرٌ فِيهَا أَمْوَالُنَا فَتَحَوَّلْنَا إِلَی دَارٍ أُخْرَی فَقَلَّ فِيهَا عَدَدُنَا وَقَلَّتْ فِيهَا أَمْوَالُنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَرُوهَا ذَمِيمَةً
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 3924
Narrated Anas ibn Malik: A man said: Messenger of Allah! we were in an abode in which our numbers and our goods were many and changed to an abode in which our numbers and our goods became few. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave it, for it is reprehensible.
