حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ لِي إِنَّ أَوَّلَ صَدَقَةٍ بَيَّضَتْ وَجْهَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَوُجُوهَ أَصْحَابِهِ صَدَقَةُ طَيِّئٍ جِئْتَ بِهَا إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 6449
Adi b. Hatim reported: I came to Umar b. Khattab and he said to me: The first consignment of Sadaqa brought to Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) which brightened the face of Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and the faces of his Companions was that of Tayyi.
