و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَی الْمِنْبَرِ عَنْ أَکْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَا آکُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ

صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5029

Ibn 'Umar reported that a person asked Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as he was sitting on the pulpit about the eating of the lizard, whereupon he said: I neither eat it, nor do I prohibit it.
