حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ يَحْيَی وَيَحْيَی بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ يَحْيَی بْنُ يَحْيَی أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُا سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَسْتُ بِآکِلِهِ وَلَا مُحَرِّمِهِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5027
Ibn 'Umar reported: Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked about the eating of (the flesh) of the lizard, whereupon he said: I am neither the eater of it nor its prohibitor.
