و حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَکِ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَی الْمَهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ بَعْثًا إِلَی بَنِي لَحْيَانَ مِنْ هُذَيْلٍ فَقَالَ لِيَنْبَعِثْ مِنْ کُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا وَالْأَجْرُ بَيْنَهُمَا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 4904
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id Khudri that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) sent a force to Banu Lihyan (who are from Banu Hudhail, and said: One man from every two and the reward (will be divided) between the two.
