حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا عَدْوَی وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ الْکَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ الْکَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5800
Anas reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: There is no transitive disease, no divination, but good omen pleases me, i. e. the good word or a good word.
