حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ح و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَی عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمُصَوِّرُونَ وَلَمْ يَذْکُرْ الْأَشَجُّ إِنَّ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5537
Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Verity the most grievously tormented people on the Day of Resurrection would be the painters of pictures. Ashajj (one of the narrators) in the hadith narrated by him did not make mention of the word verity .
