حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَخْزُومِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ وَعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ فَذَکَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَلَمْ يُطَوِّلْهُ کَتَطْوِيلِ ابْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5512
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Hazim with the same chain of transmitters that Gabriel had promised Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) that he would come; the rest of the hadith is the same, but it is not so lengthy as the other one.
