حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ فِي الْبَيَاتِ مِنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِکِينَ قَالَ هُمْ مِنْهُمْ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 4550
It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: They are from them.
