حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ وَأَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوکِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَمْ يَکُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ فَدَعَا بِهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَزَّأَهُمْ أَثْلَاثًا ثُمَّ أَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً وَقَالَ لَهُ قَوْلًا شَدِيدًا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 4335
This hadith has been narrated through another chain of transmitters (and the words are): He will be required to work (in order to secure freedom) for that por- tion in which he has not been emancipated, without overburdening him.
