و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ يَحْيَی أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ قَالَ فَقَالَ قَدْ زَعَمُوا ذَاکَ قُلْتُ أَنَهَی عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَدْ زَعَمُوا ذَاکَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5190
Thabit reported: I said to Ibn 'Umar that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had forbidden the preparation of Nabidh in the green pitcher (besmeared with pitch). He said: This is what they stated. I said: Did Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbid this? He said: They said so.
