حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ يَحْيَی قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَی مَالِکٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَأَقْبَلْتُ نَحْوَهُ فَانْصَرَفَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَبْلُغَهُ فَسَأَلْتُ مَاذَا قَالَ قَالُوا نَهَی أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِي الدُّبَّائِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ

صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5188

Ibn 'Umar reported: Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) addressed people in one of his expeditions. Ibn 'Umar said: I went forward to him but he went away before I reached him. I asked (the people present there): What did he say? They said that he (the Holy Prophet) had forbidden the preparation of Nabidh in gourd and varnished jar.
