حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ أَنْ يُبَاعَ مَا فِي رُئُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِتَمْرٍ بِکَيْلٍ مُسَمَّی إِنْ زَادَ فَلِي وَإِنْ نَقَصَ فَعَلَيَّ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 3897
Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) having forbidden Muzabana, and Muzabana is the selling of dry dates by measure for fresh dates and the selling of raisins by measure for grapes and selling of all Ports of fruits on the basis of calculation.
