حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّهْوَ وَالرُّطَبَ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّبِيبَ وَالتَّمْرَ جَمِيعًا وَانْتَبِذُوا کُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَلَی حِدَتِهِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 5154
Abu Qatada, on the authority of his father, reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) having said this: Do not prepare Nabidh by mixing nearly ripe dates and fresh dates together, and do not prepare Nabidh by mixing grapes and dates together, but prepare Nabidh from each (one of them) separately.
