حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَی قَالَ أَحْمَدُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ الْآخَرَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَتْ طَمِثَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَيٍّ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ بَعْدَ مَا أَفَاضَتْ طَاهِرًا بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 3223
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Safiyyah bint Huyayy entered the period of menses after performing Tawaf Ifada. I made a mention of her menses to Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), whereupon Allah's. Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) remarked: Well, then she will detain us. I said: Messenger of Allah. she has performed Tawif Ifada and circumambulated the House, and it was after this that she entered the period of menses. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: (If it is so), then proceed forth.
