حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَی حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ ذُؤَيْبًا أَبَا قَبِيصَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَبْعَثُ مَعَهُ بِالْبُدْنِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ إِنْ عَطِبَ مِنْهَا شَيْئٌ فَخَشِيتَ عَلَيْهِ مَوْتًا فَانْحَرْهَا ثُمَّ اغْمِسْ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ثُمَّ اضْرِبْ بِهِ صَفْحَتَهَا وَلَا تَطْعَمْهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ رُفْقَتِکَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 3218
Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) sent eighteen sacrificial camels with a person. The rest of the hadith is the same, and the first part (of the above-mentioned hadith) is not mentioned.
