و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْأَبْجَرِ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أُرَانِي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَصِفْهُ لِي قَالَ قُلْتُ رَأَيْتُهُ عِنْدَ الْمَرْوَةِ عَلَی نَاقَةٍ وَقَدْ کَثُرَ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ذَاکَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُمْ کَانُوا لَا يُدَعُّونَ عَنْهُ وَلَا يُکْرَهُونَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 3058
Abu Tufail reported: I said to Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them): People are of the view that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) moved quickly round the House and between al-Safa and al-Marwa, and (thus) it is Sunnah. He said: They told the truth and they told the lie.
