و حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّکُونِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَکِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

صحیح مسلم · Hadith 2782

Abdullah b. Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) used to observe i'tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. Nafi' said: Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) showed me the place in the mosque where the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) used to observe i'tikaf.
