حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَی قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِي مُوسَی لَوْ رَأَيْتَنِي وَأَنَا أَسْتَمِعُ لِقِرَائَتِکَ الْبَارِحَةَ لَقَدْ أُوتِيتَ مِزْمَارًا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ

Buraida reported on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had said: 'Abdullah b. Qais or al-Ash'ari has been gifted with a sweet melodious voice out of the voices of the family of David.
