حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ قَاضِي کِرْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَی عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کُلَّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْتَهَی وِتْرُهُ إِلَی آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1738
Masruq reported on the authority of 'A'isha that she said that the Messenger Of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to observe the Witr prayer every night, maybe in the early part of night, at midnight and in the latter part, finishing his Witr at dawn.
