حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ کُنْتُ شَاکِيًا بِفَارِسَ فَکُنْتُ أُصَلِّي قَاعِدًا فَسَأَلْتُ عَنْ ذَلِک عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَائِمًا فَذَکَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1701
A'isha reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) would pray in the night for a long time, and when he prayed standing be bowed in a standing posture, and when he prayed sitting, he bowed in a sitting posture.
