حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَغْلِبَنَّکُمْ الْأَعْرَابُ عَلَی اسْمِ صَلَاتِکُمْ أَلَا إِنَّهَا الْعِشَائُ وَهُمْ يُعْتِمُونَ بِالْإِبِلِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1455
Jabir b. Samura reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to observe prayers like your prayers, but he would delay the prayer after nightfall to a little after the time you observed it, and he would shorten the prayer.
