حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَائٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَکُنْ عَلَی شَيْئٍ مِنْ النَّوَافِلِ أَشَدَّ مُعَاهَدَةً مِنْهُ عَلَی رَکْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1686

A'isha reported: When it was dawn, the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) observed two rak'ahs, and I would say: Does he recite only the opening chapter of the Qur'an in it?
