حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ وَثَابِتٌ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَائَ فَدَخَلَ الصَّفَّ وَقَدْ حَفَزَهُ النَّفَسُ فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا کَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَکًا فِيهِ فَلَمَّا قَضَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ أَيُّکُمْ الْمُتَکَلِّمُ بِالْکَلِمَاتِ فَأَرَمَّ الْقَوْمُ فَقَالَ أَيُّکُمْ الْمُتَکَلِّمُ بِهَا فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَقُلْ بَأْسًا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ جِئْتُ وَقَدْ حَفَزَنِي النَّفَسُ فَقُلْتُهَا فَقَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ مَلَکًا يَبْتَدِرُونَهَا أَيُّهُمْ يَرْفَعُهَا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1357
Abu Huraira reported that when the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) stood up for the second rak'ah he opened it with the recitation of the praise of Allah, the Lord of universe (al-Fatiha), and he did not observe silence (before the recitation of al-Fatiha).
