حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ قَالَ ح و حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي کِلَاهُمَا عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبَا سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَاهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَی نُخَامَةً بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1226
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saw sputum sticking to the Qibla of the mosque. He scratched it off with a pebble and then forbade spitting on the right side or in front, but (it is permissible) to spit on the left side or under the left foot.
