حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاکُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ بِق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ وَکَانَ صَلَاتُهُ بَعْدُ تَخْفِيفًا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1027
Ziyad b. 'Ilaqa reported it on the authority of his uncle that he said the morning prayer with the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and he recited in the first rak'ah: And the tall palm trees having flower spikes piled one above another (l. 10) or perhaps Surah Qaf.
