حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ کُلُّهُمْ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا يَخْشَی الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 963
This hadith is narrated by Anas with another chain of transmitters, and in the hadith transmitted by Jarir there is no mention of turning (faces) .
