حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُا کُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَائَ مِنْ الْغَائِطِ وَأُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَلَا تَوَضَّأُ فَقَالَ لِمَ أَأُصَلِّي فَأَتَوَضَّأَ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 828
Ibn 'Abbas reported: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came out of the privy, and he was presented with some food, and the people reminded him about ablution, but he said: Am I to say prayer that I should perform ablution?
