حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعُوهُ وَلَا تُزْرِمُوهُ قَالَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَعَا بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَائٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 659
Abu Huraira reported the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saying: None of you must wash in standing water when he is in a state of Junub. And Abu Huraira was asked how it was to be done; he said: It was to be taken out in handfuls.
