حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو کُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَائِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ قُلْتُ بِأَيِّ شَيْئٍ کَانَ يَبْدَأُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ قَالَتْ بِالسِّوَاکِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 590
Abu Huraira reported: The Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Were it not that I might over-burden the believers-and in the hadith transmitted by Zuhair people -I would have ordered them to use toothstick at every time of prayer.
