حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَی بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ ابْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَائُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَادِرُوا بِالْأَعْمَالِ فِتَنًا کَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي کَافِرًا أَوْ يُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ کَافِرًا يَبِيعُ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 313
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Verily Allah would make a wind to blow from the side of the Yemen more delicate than silk and would spare none but cause him to die who, in the words of Abu 'Alqama, has faith equal to the weight of a grain; while Abdul-'Aziz said: having faith equal to the weight of a dust particle.
