حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاکُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ وَبَيْنَ الشِّرْکِ وَالْکُفْرِ تَرْکُ الصَّلَاةِ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 247
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that he heard the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him) saying. Verily between man and between polytheism and unbelief is the negligence of prayer.
