حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ اقْتَنَی کَلْبًا لَيْسَ بِکَلْبِ مَاشِيَةٍ أَوْ ضَارِيَةٍ نَقَصَ کُلَّ يَوْمٍ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ قِيرَاطَانِ

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: I heard the Prophet saying, "If someone keeps a dog neither for hunting, nor for guarding livestock, the reward (for his good deeds) will be reduced by two Qirats per day."
