و حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَکَرِيَّائَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الشَّهْرُ هَکَذَا وَهَکَذَا وَهَکَذَا عَشْرًا وَعَشْرًا وَتِسْعًا مَرَّةً
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 2526
Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas (Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) struck his hand against the other and (then with the gesture of his two hands) said: The month is thus, thus (two times). He then withdrew (one of) his fingers at the third turn.
