و حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَکَرِيَّائَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ عَادَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ أُوصِي بِمَالِي کُلِّهِ قَالَ لَا قُلْتُ فَالنِّصْفُ قَالَ لَا فَقُلْتُ أَبِالثُّلُثِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَالثُّلُثُ کَثِيرٌ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 4214
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Simak with the same chain of transmitters. But he did not mention: It was then that one-third became permissible.
