حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَجِلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرُ يُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ إِلَی أَوَّلِ وَقْتِ الْعَصْرِ فَيَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا وَيُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّی يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الْعِشَائِ حِينَ يَغِيبُ الشَّفَقُ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1627
Anas reported: When the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) intended to combine two prayers on a journey, he delayed the noon prayer till came the early time of the afternoon prayer, and then combined the two.
