حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّی عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَقَدَ أَحَدُکُمْ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ غَفَلَ عَنْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَکَرَهَا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِکْرَی
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 1569
Qatada narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: He who forgets the prayer, or he slept (and it was omitted), its expiation is (only) that he should observe it when he remembers it.
