حَدَّثَنَي مَطَرُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ حَدَّثَنَا عِکْرِمَةُ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ بُعِثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً فَمَکُثَ بِمَکَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً يُوحَی إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِالْهِجْرَةِ فَهَاجَرَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ وَمَاتَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle stayed in Mecca for thirteen years (after receiving the first Divine Inspiration) and died at the age of sixty-three.
