فَحَدَّثَهُ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ جِنَّانِ الْبُيُوتِ فَأَمْسَكَ عَنْهَا".

But when Abu Lubaba informed him that the Prophet had forbidden the killing of snakes living in houses, he gave up killing them.
