حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَی بْنُ قُرَيْشٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ بَکْرِ بْنِ مُضَرَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ عِرَاکِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ إِنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ الَّتِي کَانَتْ تَحْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ شَکَتْ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الدَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهَا امْکُثِي قَدْرَ مَا کَانَتْ تَحْبِسُکِ حَيْضَتُکِ ثُمَّ اغْتَسِلِي فَکَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ کُلِّ صَلَاةٍ
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 760
On the authority of 'A'isha: Umm Habiba asked the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) about the blood (which flows beyond the period of menstruation). 'A'isha said: I saw her wash-tub full of blood. The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Remain away (from prayer) equal (to the length of time) that your menses prevented you. After this (after the period of usual courses) bathe yourself and offer prayer.
