حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذُکِرَ عِنْدَهُ الْغُسْلُ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفْرِغُ عَلَی رَأْسِي ثَلَاثًا
صحیح مسلم · Hadith 741
Jubair b. Mut'im reported: The people contended amongst themselves in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) with regard to bathing. Some of them said: We wash our heads like this and this. Upon this the Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: As for me I pour three handfuls of water upon my head.
