حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُکَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ بَدَأَ بِيَمِينِهِ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ الْمَائِ فَغَسَلَهَا ثُمَّ صَبَّ الْمَائَ عَلَی الْأَذَی الَّذِي بِهِ بِيَمِينِهِ وَغَسَلَ عَنْهُ بِشِمَالِهِ حَتَّی إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ ذَلِکَ صَبَّ عَلَی رَأْسِهِ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ کُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَائٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَحْنُ جُنُبَانِ

Abu Salamab. 'Abd al-Rahman reported: I along with the foster brother of 'A'isha went to her and he asked about the bath of the Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) because of sexual intercourse. She called for a vessel equal to a Sa' and she took a bath. and there was a curtain between us and her. She poured water on her head thrice and he (Abu Salama) said: The wives of the Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) collectedhair on their heads and these lopped up to ears (and did rot go beyond that).
