حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَکَّةَ وَحَوْلَ الْکَعْبَةِ ثَلَاثُ مِائَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ نُصُبًا فَجَعَلَ يَطْعُنُهَا بِعُودٍ فِي يَدِهِ وَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ جَائَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ الْآيَةَ
صحیح بخاری · Hadith 2478
Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud: The Prophet entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka`ba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: "Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished."
